Birthday Tag

Thank you to my followers for their continuing support I appreciate the time you take to leave a comment, especially in the beautiful weather when we all want to be outdoors.

The garden is progressing slowly, the fruit trees look as though we can expect a good crop and the raised vegetable beds are coming along nicely, there will be plenty of fruit and veg to pickle and make jams and chutneys in the autumn.

I have a few friends and family members with a big birthday coming up, I've made cards with matching cards for each of them, I'll show the card which this tag goes with at a later date.

Christmas Houses

I bought a few Hunkydory Little book selections on Ebay at the end of last year and decided that they mustn't lie in the drawer for ever, Teamed with papers that were free with the Die Cutting Essentials Christmas Special and some Spellbinder die cuts. Another card to add to the Christmas Box.

A pleasant day here now after a wet start, not too hot thankfully. We had quite a few birds nesting in the garden this year and have been putting nuts and fat balls out on a daily basis, we are now going through at least 8 fat balls a day and often see 30+ birds at the feeders. It's lovely to see them.

A totally different colour scheme today, bold bright and summery, the image and papers were free from Making Cards magazine last summer, the flowers were made with a Sue Wilson die and foamarin.
We had a beautiful morning then about 3pm thunder and lightening with torrential rain for almost an hour, the lightening was spectacular.
Thank you to all who continue to visit and leave comments I really appreciate the time you take.

Christmas Carollers

My Christmas box has been sadly neglected, hence a Christmas card today, the image is from TLC, embossing folders from Crafter's Companion and my Spellbinder poinsettia die with foamarin for the blooms, this is the first time I have used the foam and it was really easy to achieve the dimension on the flowers.

With Love

A vintage style engagement card today, it's quite simple but reminds me of past times, miserable weather after last week's glorious sunshine, I plan to watch some DVD's the boys have given me.
