Happy Birthday

A really bright and bold card for my nieces birthday, as she works in Germany I don't think there's any chance of her seeing this.
We have a beautiful morning here in North East Scotland another great day for working in or enjoying sitting in the garden. When my son left school after his exams last week he said he was going to spend the next 4 years in bed, however he has been up at 7am most mornings and has been helping outside. He worked hard at school and the stress of the examinations made him grumpy and a bit reclusive, it's lovely to see him relaxing again.

What a fab card I love the colours and how the sentiments fill the card its such a cheerful card.
Its a weird time when your kids leave school - like the end of an era - good luck to him with his exam results and whatever he does next - make the most of this precious time with him - my son is leaving home in the next few weeks to take up his first "real" job in another part of the country -in fact another country (Scotland!) - I so don't want him to go - but i'm happy he has found a job that he wants to do : / hugs Judith x

This is a bright and festive birthday card, Meg, which your niece is bound to treasure! Wonderful use of snippets! It's a pleasure to be your newest follower (which I thought I already was)! I'd love to have you pop by my place and follow me, too, if you like! Good luck to your son in his future endeavors! Have a great weekend! Hugs, Darnell
